Helping folks find peace through movement, meditation, and massage feels like the most natural work in the world to me. I like especially to work with people who make or appreciate beautiful things and are experiencing pain doing the activities that otherwise fulfill them. My aim is to help folks feel like they feel after a massage using movement, stillness, and breath. My mode is first and foremost the physical body, but I work with the understanding that it is a manifestation of mental, emotional, and spiritual/social states. I’m particularly adept at guiding my students to build rich and detailed inner sanctuaries where they can feel at ease, even beyond the container of a session. My monthly newsletter offers simple, straightforward tips and tricks on how to be bodiful, a term I coined to capture the essence of what I teach, delivered often with humor and always with love.
